4 GRAND PRIZE WINNERS

Grand prize winners will have their entire book professionally edited and published. Each prize is valued at over $3,750.

4 SECOND PRIZE WINNERS

The second place winners will recieve a basic publishing package appropriate to their genre. Each prize is valued at over $997.

4 THIRD PLACE WINNERS

The third place prize winners will receive a $250 gift card to use on the publishing package of their choice.

28 LUCKY RUNNERS-UP

7 lucky runners up in each category will each receive a $75 gift card to use on the publishing package of their choice.

10 SHORT STORY WINNERS

Winners will have their short story's edited and published as part of an anthology

Prize catagories:

First place cup of the Great Little Publishing Company writers contest

Grand prize winners publisher's cup
  • Novels: 10 prizes for works between 50,000 and 125,000 words

    Up to 25 pictures or graphics may be included.
    At least 2,500 words must be entered.

  • Poetry: 10 prizes for works of at least 50 pages of poetry

    May contain pictures and graphics.
    At least 20 pages must be entered.

  • Children's: 10 prizes for works with at least 40 pages (with pictures)

    Up to 50 Color pictures but no pop-up pages.
    At least 20 pages must be entered (including pictures).

  • Non-Fiction: 10 prizes for works between 35,000 and 80,000 words

    May contain pictures and graphics.
    At least 2,500 words must be entered.

  • Short Stories: 10 prizes for works between 3,000 and 15,000 words

    Each prize winners will have their work published in an anthology with each of the other short-story winners.
    At least 1,500 words must be entered.

How Do I Enter?

Entering the contest couldn't be easier. Simply go to the member-login page then do the following:

  1. Register and create your project in one simple step
  2. Open your new project then upload your manuscript and accompanying artwork (if any) just as if you were publishing. (Don't worry, it's free)
  3. When you're done instead of publishing simply click the "Contest" tab and enter your masterpiece in the contest.

That's it! Simple.
